TOUR UROS, TAQUILE AND AMANTANI 2D/1N
In this wonderful tour of the islands of Lake Titikaka you can enjoy the most exquisite life experiences in the middle of the highest navigable Lake in the world, nor can you imagine how incredible you can spend if you decide to do this tour. At 8 in the morning (approximately) we will be at your hotel to pick you up. Remember! Your hotel has to be in the center of the city, if not, do not worry! We can send you a mobility for an additional charge. Once we arrive at the port and get on the boat, you will enjoy a short trip until you reach Los Uros, the first island that we will visit, it will be a wonderful thing to know about its history, you can ride in your local transport (raft) for an optional cost of 10 soles. (optional), it will undoubtedly be a very interesting experience. As the day progresses, you will enjoy it more and more! We will continue to the island of Amantaní and when we arrive we will meet the local families, who are waiting for us to take us to visit their beautiful rural houses, so that you have lunch and you are full of energy because after accommodating yourself in the room, you will go to meet all the travel companions to climb the ceremonial temples of Amantaní. Remember to bring warm water and clothes to warm you up! Once up, the guide will tell you the whole story of Amantaní Island, and it will be about 5 in the afternoon, the sunset on this Island is simply wonderful. You don’t want to run out of a souvenir photo! With the instructions of the guide, we can return to the family home who will be waiting for us with dinner already prepared and a mate to warm the body. And here the day does not end! If you wish, you can go to Peña to dance with the whole group, the family will lend you the typical costume so you can take pictures. Yes now! You can now rest and replenish energy for the next day that will also be full of interesting activities. The next morning, after your breakfast, we will all go on the boat to the Island of Taquile, we will climb for about 40 minutes we can take some magnificent photos next to the beautiful landscape. Did you know that men are the ones who weave to be able to get married? There are many other curiosities that you cannot miss! When we all arrive at the square, you will know the textile art of the island of Taquile and you will have a delicious tourist lunch. Then we will go down stone steps to reach the port and return to the city of Puno at approximately 3:30 pm. How many memories and wonderful photos will you be taking to show them to everyone! ITINERARY:
DAY 01:
- 07:40 a.m. Pick up from hotel (fenced Puno).
- 08:15 a.m. Departure to the floating islands of Los Uros of Lake Titicaca.
- 08:45 a.m. Visit to two floating islands of Los Uros the guide gives us a brief overview of the island of Uros optional ride on the island of Uros Floating.
- 10:15 a.m. Boat departure to Amantani Island.
- 1:00 pm. Arrival at Amantani Island and installation in family houses.
- 2:00 p.m. Typical lunch of the area.
- 4:00 p.m. Walk to the Pachatata and Pachamama ceremonial centers (One hour).
- 6:00 pm. Return and dinner with the families.
- 07:00 p.m. optional Peña show (welcome party).
DAY 02:
- 07:30 a.m. Breakfast with the family of the island of Amantani.
- 08:00 a.m. Departure from the boat to the Taquile Island
- 09:00 a.m. Arrival at the port of Taquile and walk to the main square of the town of Taquile.
- 10:30 a.m. Arrival at the Taquile island Main square.
- 12:00 pm. Lunch at Taquile Tourist Restaurant.
- 1:30 p.m. Return to the port of Lake Titicaca.
- 3:30 p.m. Arrival at the port and transfers to your hotel in the center of the city.
